Amu Hinamori, a "cool and spicy" elementary school girl with a tough exterior but a shy heart, wakes up one day to find three colorful "Guardian Eggs" in her bed. These eggs hatch into her "Shugo Charas"—tiny guardian spirits representing her hidden inner selves. With their help, Amu navigates school life, friendships, and battles against the mysterious Easter Corporation, which seeks to steal people’s dreams by corrupting their eggs into "X Eggs."
