The Guardians of the Galaxy is a sci-fi action movie based on Marvel Comics and is the tenth film of the Marvel Movie Universe.
In 1988, when the young Peter Quill witnessed the death of his mother, Meredith Quill, (caused by brain cancer), he was taken to the universe by Ravager. He was trained into the Star Lord. When he was an adult, Quill came to Molag to steal the "Cosmic Spirit Ball", but the robot, Korath, working for Ronan, suddenly walked in to arrest him and snatch the ball. Although Quill finally escaped from the planet, he was rewarded with courage. The peace between Nova and Kree was threatened by the indiscriminate killing of Ronan.
When Quill came to Xandar to sell the Ball, he was robbed by Gamora, and the Rocket Raccoon and Groot joined the fight for the reward. However, the four people were arrested by the New Star Corps. They became a team. The crowd came to the Knowhere, and saw Taneleer Tivan who collected rare things in the universe.
The release of energy blew up the collection hall of Tivan. Quill and others planned to hand over the ball to the New Star Corps after they escaped. Gamora took an industrial spaceship, but Ronan’s entourage, Gamora’s sister chased her and they destroyed the ship of Gamora, then taking the ball away. Quill was captured together with Gamora by Yondu when he saved her. Quill and Gamora together persuaded Yondu and others to help them stop Ronan.
When all the Rising Stars fighters were brought together, all the fighters were shattered by Ronan. Quill and others who entered the dark star began to look for Ronan. When Quill shot Ronan, he found that Ronan was protected by the power of the ball. Finally the Dark Star crashed, but Ronan was still alive. Just as Ronan was going to give a hard hit to Xandar, Quill began to sing and dance to divert his attention, and let Drax break Ronan's hammer.
Quill used the energy of the gem to smash Ronan into pieces.
Characters
Peter Quill is the captain of the Guardians of the Galaxy. He was born in the 1980s and has a hybrid gene between humans and some ancient alien race. At the age of 9, he was taken away from the Earth by the space squadron of the "Destroyer" and later became one of them. The translation device was planted on the neck.
Gamora, the adopted daughter of Thanos, is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Ronan, the highest military commander of the Kree, a traditional warlord who pursues the ancient laws of Kree. Due to the dissatisfaction with the Peace Treaty, he bent on aggression against Xandar.
Rocket Raccoon is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a planetary experimental body code-named 89P13.
Groot is a member of Guardians of the Galaxy, a tree-like creature with human intelligence that can multiply by planting debris. It only says "I am Groot."
