Genshin Capitano Cosplay: Five Charts and a Heavy Cape Day Plan

Genshin Impact Capitano cosplay full set

Capitano, the First of the Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact, is a large-scale costume. He wears a dark blue cape with a fur collar, silver and gold ornaments, a long coat underneath, armored gauntlet claws, and long black hair under his helmet. The Genshin Impact Capitano Cosplay Costume With Wig is a heavy set with five measured garments. Plan this costume the way you would plan a trip.

Full Set, Nails, Wig

  • Capitano Full Set With Nails: cape, top coat, inner shirt, apron, pants, gloves, chain accessories and claw nails. Adult XS–XXXL.
  • Capitano Nails: the claw nails on their own, One Size. Useful as a spare set, since claws are the piece most likely to get lost or break.
  • Capitano Wig: a long black wig with a wig cap, One Size.

Materials are polyester, faux fur and PU. Shoes and props, including any sword or helmet, are not included. The fur collar is the most recognizable part of the costume, and also the warmest.

Five garments, five charts

Each garment has its own chart, and the sizes mean different things depending on the piece:

  • Cape: the longest piece, from 130 cm at XS to 136 at XXXL. Shoulder widths run from 58 to 64. Even at XS, it falls close to the floor on most people.
  • Top coat: a short coat, length 39–45, worn under the cape. Bust runs from 86–90 to 110–114. Sleeves run from 58.5 to 64.5.
  • Inner shirt: bust from 82–86 up to 106–110.
  • Apron: waist from 60–64 up to 84–88, length 67–73.
  • Pants: waist from 88–92 up to 112–116, length 100–112.

The apron waist is much smaller than the pants waist, because the apron ties over the top. Choose your size by chest (top coat and shirt) and height (cape and pants length). If you're between sizes, take the larger one. Each size lists a height range, from 146–152 for XS up to 184–190 for XXXL. Hand measurements can be off by 1 to 3 cm.

Wearing a heavy cape all day

A long faux-fur cape is heavy on your shoulders by mid-afternoon. A few habits help:

  • Take the cape off between photo sessions, and carry a large tote bag for it.
  • Wear a moisture-wicking base layer under the inner shirt.
  • Watch your hem on stairs and escalators. Gather the cape over one arm.
  • Put the claw nails on last and take them off to eat. They don't go well with phones or food.

Brush the fur collar before photos, because it flattens in transit. A little cosplay-friendly fabric spray and a wide-tooth comb bring it back.

When Capitano makes sense

Capitano rarely moves fast in the story. When you pose, stand square, keep one clawed hand forward, and let the cape fall straight behind you. Slow, steady movement suits him better than an action pose.

Indoor game conventions, Fatui group photo shoots and cooler-weather Halloween events suit this costume. A hot outdoor summer event is not a good fit. Order the full set and the wig together, consider the spare nails, and plan the day around taking the cape off and putting it back on. That's how you stay in full Harbinger gear for photos without being worn out by noon.
