For nearly everyone, the With Hat option is the right choice. Without the hat, a dark haori over green clothes could pass for a general Soul Society look. Haori coat: lengths from 105.5 to 115.5, shoulders from 53 to 61, bust from 104 to 120. Sleeves are short and wide, from 47.5 to 49.5.
The pants are cropped, 76–80 cm long, to match Urahara's ankle-length look. Don't size up just for length. The bust measurements are garment measurements, so pick a size a few centimeters bigger than your chest. If you're between sizes, take the larger one. Hand measurements can be off by 1 to 3 cm.
How to stand like Urahara
Pull the hat brim low so your eyes are shadowed. Hold a folded fan or a cane in front of your face. Lean slightly, with your weight on one leg. Urahara never looks tense. Let the haori hang open so the green top and the white diamonds on the hem both show. Steam the haori before the event, because creases along that long hem show up in full-length photos.
Pairing and events
For travel, roll the haori around tissue paper instead of folding it, and pack the hat crown-up so the brim keeps its shape. A crushed bucket hat is the fastest way to lose the Urahara look.
Yoruichi is the classic partner, and the haori sits well beside her orange and black. With a group of Soul Reapers, Urahara's colors set him apart from the black shihakusho uniforms. Anime conventions, Halloween and Bleach photo shoots all suit this costume. The loose fit is comfortable for a full day. Add simple geta sandals or dark slip-ons and keep the hat on.
