Venom: Let There Be Carnage Cosplay with a Separate Hood

Venom Let There Be Carnage black and white symbiote cosplay jumpsuit with separate hood

Eddie Brock is a reporter bonded to an alien symbiote, the hulking black figure known as Venom. This Venom: Let There Be Carnage costume uses a black jumpsuit with white markings and a separate hood. The set is made from Lycra and comes in Men, Women and Kids styles, giving a group several ways to choose the same Venom design.

Read Venom’s black and white markings through the gallery

The gallery’s Men images include a front view, front and back together, and additional back views. Kids side views appear alongside Men chest detail and printed fabric images. Use the chest detail to examine the markings closely, then return to the wider views to consider how much of the suit you want in a portrait.

Use the front and back images as prompts for a pair of Venom portraits: face the camera for one, then turn to feature the back design. Against a dark background, try lighting that keeps the black suit’s outline visible without losing the contrast of its white markings.

Build a Venom close-up around the separate hood

The jumpsuit and separate hood are the supplied costume pieces; a teeth-and-tongue mask, shoes and props are excluded. To emphasize Venom’s mouth in a portrait, add your own Venom mask with teeth and a tongue over the hood. The added mouth accessory can become the focal point of a close-up.

Leave space around the added tongue when framing the close-up, especially in a pose turned toward the edge of the image. For a wider portrait, include the chest markings alongside the mask. Let the black and white jumpsuit carry the composition beneath your chosen mouth accessory.

Choose Men, Women or Kids for your Venom group

The Men cut is available in S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL. The Women style offers those labels in its own cut. For Kids, the choices are XS, S, M, L and XL.

Every style includes a jumpsuit and separate hood, so a family group can use the same black and white symbiote design across adult and children’s selections.

For a family portrait with several Venom wearers, use the repeated white markings to guide the arrangement. Place each person where their chest pattern remains visible, with the group staggered to show the shared symbiote design across the adult and Kids choices. If several wearers add teeth-and-tongue masks, allow space between those accessories in the frame as well. That gives each Venom a distinct place within the same black and white group.

Pair the black and white suit with Carnage

A red Carnage suit is the suggested counterpart for a symbiote duo shoot. The red beside Venom’s black and white markings gives you a clear colour contrast to build the photographs around. Start with both costumes facing the camera, then try poses turned toward each other to give the pair a different composition.

For a Halloween pairing, make a wider photograph about the contrasting suits and a closer photograph about Venom’s added teeth-and-tongue mask, if you use one. You could also give each symbiote a separate portrait against the same background, then bring them together for a shared image that keeps both costume designs visible.

Symbiote costume pairings for Venom

Keep the symbiote theme together with another Eddie Brock outfit, a red Carnage counterpart or a She-Venom variation.
