Maki Zenin’s short cape and glasses give her Jujutsu Kaisen costume a distinct identity. A second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High, she was born into the Zenin clan with almost no cursed energy and fights with cursed tools. This adult costume offers two ways to build her outfit: black separates or a dark green bodysuit, each paired with a black cape-style cloak.
Both sets cost $52.99 and use polyester. The difference goes beyond color: the garments underneath the cloak, the belt, and the available sizing all change with your selection. Think about which outfit you want to recreate before comparing the individual measurements.
Black Separates or a Dark Green Bodysuit
The Black Cloak Set includes a black high-neck top, black pants, a black cape-style cloak with gold shoulder buttons, and a black belt with a metal buckle. The separate top and pants make their meeting point at the waist part of the styling. Position the belt deliberately so the buckle stays visible beneath the cape in front-facing photographs.
The Green Cloak Set includes a dark green one-piece bodysuit, a black cape-style cloak with gold shoulder buttons, and a brown belt. Here, the belt introduces a contrasting color across the green outfit. For a costume reference board, keep the green set’s photographs together so you can follow its particular combination of garments and accessories.
Gold shoulder details feature on both options. When composing a portrait, give the shoulders enough space in the frame to show those details alongside the cape. A tight crop around the face alone leaves out much of what distinguishes this costume.
Why Maki’s Two Sets Need Separate Fit Checks
The black option comes in S through XXL; the green option comes in S through XL. Each has its own chart, so a familiar letter from one option cannot settle the choice for the other.
For example, black M lists a bust of 92 cm and waist of 68-76 cm. Green M lists a bust of 82-86 cm and waist of 64-68 cm. That difference is substantial enough to make checking the selected set’s chart essential.
For the black separates, consider the top length and pants length individually, especially where you want the belt to sit. For the green bodysuit, read the listed bodysuit length alongside bust, waist, and hip measurements. A one-piece outfit connects the upper and lower body, making overall length relevant to your selection.
Building Maki’s Face and Weapon Silhouette
Glasses, a wig, boots, and the long staff or weapon are not included. Account for those separately when planning the complete costume. Maki’s glasses and high ponytail are useful reference points when arranging your own hair or selecting and styling a wig.
For photographs with a separately sourced staff, compose the image so it does not obscure the belt or gold shoulder details. You can also take an accessory-free outfit photograph first to document the cape, waist placement, and full-length fit. That gives you a clear view of your chosen black or green combination before adding the weapon to the composition.
